• How to organise the Best Hen Party

Come on girls; Let's organise THE BEST bachelorette party on this planet!!


We all know that the bachelorette party or hen party as we in the UK call it, is THE MOST IMPORTANT night of the wedding calendar.....bar none!!! For the hens at least!!
If you have been given the task of organising the hen party, then you will be glad that you landed on our help page.

Firstly, once you know the date of the wedding you need to get moving fast..... before the stags get the best dates!
We suggest getting as many of the hens together and organising a mass brainstorming session..... a real girlie night out; urm we mean in! lol
This brainstorming session is essential to ensure that all the hens and possible the bride (but if somethings are to be a surprise then you may need a 'extra fake session'), are able to contribute to the ideas.
You need to start with a glass of wine each and a huge sheet of paper; wallpaper is ideal. Next write in the centre the title, eg 'Paula's Hen Do'
Then ask around for some topical headings and begin: Here are a few to start you off:

Theme: what, where, dress code, fancy dress, make up, food, displays, accessories, games, drinks, food
Venue: date/s, where, how many, size, transport, payments, passports, visas, decorations, banners, caterers, bar, costs
Invitations: who, when, where, numbers, cost, delivery
The Bride:what are you to do to make this a memorable event? games, drinks, forfeits, prizes, special guests, entertainment, surprises!!!
Once you have your brainstorm, for your individual bride, you must, must, must......ensure all hens honour the Hen Code of Secrecy..... write up this charter and one by one hens must sign it
